Terms & Conditions

Welcome to PsychSeva. By using our platform, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions that govern your access to our therapy, psychiatric, and mental health services. Please read carefully before booking a session.

1. Eligibility & Confidentiality

a. Who Can Use Our Services?

  • You must be 18 years or older to book a session.

  • If under 18, parental/guardian consent is required.

  • Therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or emergency care.

 

b. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • All client details and session content remain strictly confidential.

  • PsychSeva follows legal and ethical confidentiality rules, meaning we will not share your information unless:

    • You are at risk of self-harm or harming others.

    • There is a legal requirement to disclose information.

 

2. Booking & Payment Policy

a. Booking Sessions

  • Sessions must be booked at least 12 hours in advance.

  • No last-minute walk-ins or emergency support is provided.

  • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment.

b. Payment Terms

  • Payments must be made online via UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards through Razorpay & Cashfree.

  • No direct payments to therapists are allowed.

  • Subscription payments are non-refundable once processed.

 

3. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

a. Rescheduling

  • Clients can reschedule a session up to 6 hours before the appointment.

  • Less than 6 hours? The session is forfeited with no refund.

  • Therapists must provide 12-hour notice if rescheduling.

b. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 24+ hours before session: 50% refund.

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund.

  • No-show (10+ minutes late): Session marked as completed, no refund.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must be in a quiet, private space during online therapy.

  • Therapy is not a crisis intervention service—if you need immediate help, contact emergency services.

  • Clients must not request personal favors or direct contact with therapists outside PsychSeva.

 

5. Right to Disconnect

  • Therapists may end a session early if a client engages in:

    • Inappropriate behavior (harassment, abusive language).

    • Explicit content or violations of professional boundaries.

  • Any serious misconduct will result in account suspension.

 

6. Platform Compliance & Anti-Solicitation

  • Clients must not request or engage in therapy outside PsychSeva.

  • Any therapist requesting direct payments must be reported immediately.

  • Sessions are not recorded, but therapists submit session logs for quality tracking.

 

7. Disclaimer & Liability

  • PsychSeva provides a digital platform for therapy, but we do not guarantee specific results.

  • We are not responsible for any advice given by therapists.

  • We are not liable for emotional, psychological, or financial impact resulting from sessions.

  • Our services are available globally. In case users from any country face issues or disputes, they will be resolved under Indian jurisdiction. All our services and policies are governed by Indian laws, regardless of where the services are provided. Please keep this in mind

 

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Any issues must be reported to psychologistseva@gmail.com within 48 hours of the session.

  • Disputes will be reviewed based on session logs, feedback, and reports.

 

9. Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • PsychSeva may update these terms as needed.

  • Any changes will be notified via email or website updates.
